If you work remotely for a Manhattan-based company and watched Anora a couple weeks before your in-person all-hands, then this is the blog post for you.
Anora is inspired in part by the Brighton Beach Slavic community so that should be your first stop. After your presentations are done for the day take the x28 bus from Battery Pl. It should drop you right at the Parkview Diner unless your bus driver forgets there is a stop there and blows past it.

Get a milkshake and the Greek salad with grilled chicken for dinner.

Or get whatever you want this is a film location guide, not a culinary guide.
Now walk to William’s Candy shop but it won’t be open because you were listening to company strategy all day.

Hit the Brighton Beach boardwalk. Since it’s winter, don’t forget your red scarf or camel coat.

The next stop is the Tatiana Grill, which looked like a nice place to meet some Russians and grab a drink, but it was closed when I got there at 8PM on a Wednesday.

Now head to Anora’s house. It looks a lot nicer than in the movie.

Deliberate for way too long while your fingers freeze on whether to get an Uber to Vanya’s mansion since it’s in such a rich neighborhood there is no public transit to get there. I decided not to go because I’m a jetlagged old man or at least I felt like it.
Head to Anora’s subway stop and take the E line to Barclays then transfer to the 4 to get back to your hotel in Battery Park.

The E line is Anora’s commute to work, so make sure to stare moodily out the window. Check out Ivan’s house on Zillow after you transfer to the 4.
On your way to the office bright and early the next morning, take a short detour to the courthouse.

Skip the Armenian church because it is in the middle of nowhere. And definitely skip the Chase Bank because it’s a Chase Bank what are you expecting?
Finally, after your team-building cavatelli cooking class in midtown, take a surprisingly long walk over to Anora’s strip club in Hell’s Kitchen.

But don’t go inside for a lap dance, did you even watch the movie?
So cool!
